Weblog soul searching

Something I almost never do: check my SiteMeter.

Yikes! As of this writing it says 4 hits today and 4 hits/day.

I guess it could be wrong...

So how about just a little feedback:

I think some of you still read this. In feed readers?

Has interesting content just dwindled too low? Now that I'm weblogging professionally, I don't post as much personally.

Not that I'm thinking of getting rid of 'interact'. That's the kind of thing Jason would do ;-) It has value as a diary and a placeholder for the top search results for 'sean meade', if nothing else.

Your comments or email are appreciated.

Nowadays I read blogs through Google Reader, and only go to the specific pages for comments/discussion.

Relatedly, I wish that even this was widely implemented in feeds: I hate the idea I'm missing some good comment because I don't know where to check.

Yeah, I read strictly through bloglines, and only click through on the odd chance I feel like commenting. I still read every word you write, though.

Sadly (or not, I'm not sure) my internet time is pretty restricted nowadays (well, for the past two years, which is like, what, 30 in internet time?) so I rely almost strictly on my .rss feeds and e-mail.

Keep on keeping on, though, Mr. Meade. You'll always be my introduction to WebLogging.

thanks, guys. yeah, i'm not hittin' your site meters very often either ;-)

D: do you like how the CA guys have handled # of comments in each feed?

S: not sure i'd wish reading every word i write on everyone ;-)

what happened to the Mavs, btw?

I'm a feed reader, too. So I don't usually show up on your sitemeter. But I look forward to hearing what you have to say.

my favorite part of Google Chat is seeing you logged in all the way over on Guam. makes the world seem smaller :-)

I think they're weblogging software has page and comment-specific rss feeds, and that this is just something that blogspot (and blogspirit, for that matter) haven't gotten around to implementing.

i don't think that's part of the standard package in WordPress, though. i think they've added it in (like a plugin or something). i *know* BlogSpirit doesn't have it ;-)

Didn't we table this discussion? Meade Hall, the day I was driven sane by the realization my new "gotcher 6" partner's processeeeeees were out of whack. Gaming. No longer understands written, spoken or signed American English. Nothing 90 days in rehab and a little psychiatric intervention can't fix. I hope.

May I leave this Web Bot Project spider here. Followed me out when I cut the grass. Checking the 45 degree angles, among other things. It's all happy, good, optimistic, hopeful, positive, A+, #1 .........like that.

Yeah, you funny too! ;~)

PS Your Widget thingy's akimbo. ;~)

Your traffic here is that low?! I find that totally shocking. Really, I'm pretty stunned. Wow.
