Just saw The Dark Knight. It was perfect. Not a wrong note in the whole thing. Amazing.
Heath Ledger will posthumously win the Oscar for Best Actor.
In the works: trip to Charlotte with my friend, Will (not to be confused with my son, Wil), to see it on IMAX.
More later.

Tried to see it on Imax earlier this week, but it was sold out so I settled for the regular theater. It is first of all a great movie. And then secondly a super hero movie. I loved it. It asks all the right questions we need to asking ourselves at the moment. Sean, you pre-envisioned the essence of the movie in a sermon you did years and year ago....
Shawn and I saw this last night. It had all the elements for a truly great movie,I was totally involved from the beginning (even though sometimes I didn't want to be), it was thought provoking, and it had a positive message...sort of. That being said, the pencil part really creeped me out.
should have noted in the post: reason to see in IMAX is it was shot in IMAX. i'm still hoping this will work out...
Kurt: you are so kind. i didn't even make the connection.
(nb for others: i once preached a first-person sermon inspired by the parable of the unforgiving servant with Batman in the role of the master/God)
Kathy: murder aside, i thought that pencil move was so awesome!
