I made a last minute bet in Pittsburgh (I was there doing a show/finishing the album), with my prediction being a 3 point vic. by the Giants. Although with that non-sack toss/reception off of the head/helmet, it looked as if god was on NYGs' side.

We (me & M) listened on the road back to NYC to our rental radio (AM for the kids)

We may go to the parade on 5th after voting tomm. for lunch.

We now have another proof that there is a God.

Paul: that's what Tom wrote, too, in a very unflattering post that he ultimately deleted

Hey Sean---I'm not here to rub anything in---it was a great season by the Patriots. However, I did want to mention that Belichick leaving the field early was one of the most classless things that I've ever seen in professional sports, and epitomizes why many of us despise the team so much. Poor winners and poor losers. While he did at least manage to shake Coughlin's hand, he essentially ruined his moment. Then, when the rest of his team was forced to come back onto the field, instead of standing with them, he bolted for the locker room.

Anyway, great game for the ages. Hopefully somebody beats them next year a little bit earlier to save us from all of the hype.

I didn't think I cared until the Pats lost, turned out I did. Darn.

Eric: though i do not attribute the same weight to it that you do in this instance, the Belichick probably is a sore loser.

Kathy: thanks for writing. 'it is better to have loved and lost...' ;-)
